Punctuality#

This tab is designed to show heads of year at the school a picture of the students with late marks. It provides detailed and summarised information allowing you to identify issues and intervene before they become more serious.

Note

For this report attendance codes L and U are the relevant codes being analysed.

An L code means that the student arrived late but before registers were closed.

A U code means that the student arrived late after registration has closed.

Report Views#

There are 3 views available for this data, each shows a variation of the punctuality data. The school can use these to focus on different areas of student punctuality and target reasons for lateness that they feel need more attention.

Overall#

The overall view shows the percentage of late marks calculated while treating both L and U codes as codes that represent a student being late. This is what you would normally consider to represent your percentage of late marks.

Arrived After Registers Closed (U Codes)#

This view shows the percentage of late marks calculated while treating only U codes as codes that represent a student being late. For the purpose of this view, L codes are treated as present marks.

Arrived Before Registers Closed (L Codes)#

This view shows the percentage of late marks calculated while treating only L codes as codes that represent a student being late. For the purpose of this view, U codes are treated as present marks.
