File Consent Types#
File Consent Types are part of the File Consent functionality. They are a configurable list of types that can be assigned to a new file consent item when it is recorded on a users record.
Creating a new File Consent Type#
To create a new file consent type click the File Consent Types option from the File Consent section of the Compliance side menu. This will open the existing file consent types.
Click the New button at te top of the screen to create a new file consent type.
Enter the file consent type’s details.
Name
The name of the file consent type. This must be unique.
Description
The description of the file consent type. This could be used to add some additional context to the purpose of this type.
Once the desired information is entered, click the Save button to create the file consent type. A green popup message will confirm the type was created successfully.
Editing an Existing File Consent Type#
To edit an existing file consent type click the File Consent Types option from the File Consent section of the Compliance side menu. This will open the existing file consent types.
Click the corresponding items checkbox and then click edit on the tables action bar, or double click the row to open the edit screen.
Make the desired changes to the file consent types information and click the Save button when complete to save the changes. A green popup message will confirm the action completed successfully.
Deleting a File Consent Type#
To delete an existing file consent type click the File Consent Types option from the File Consent section of the Compliance side menu. This will open the existing file consent types.
Select the corresponding checkbox and click the Delete button on the tables action bar to delete the file consent type. A green popup message will confirm the action completed successfully.
