Readiness Check#
The readiness check process is designed to help you identify configuration issues that might prevent you successfully using the Homework module. Where possible as well as showing reasons we know things will fail we’ll also show you warnings about things that don’t look quite right.
The contents of the readiness check and details about each item are shown below.
Grade Ranges#
The Grade Ranges are checked to ensure that you’ve configured at least one grade range.

The Grade Ranges are checked to ensure that you’ve configured at least one grade within a grade range.
Late Submission Window#
The Late Submission Window setting is checked to see if it has a value greater than 0 if the Allow Late Submissions setting is set to “Yes”.
Learning Activities#
The Learning Activities are checked, you’ll see:
An error when the Require Learning Activity Selection setting is set to “Yes”, if you haven’t configured any learning activities.
A warning if less than 3 learning activities have been added.
Learning Outcomes#
The Learning Outcomes are checked, you’ll see:
An error when the Require Learning Outcome Selection setting is set to “Yes”, if you haven’t configured any learning outcomes.
A warning if less than 3 learning outcomes have been added.
Year Group Default Grade Ranges#
The Year Groups are checked to ensure that you’ve configured the default grade range for each year group you’ve configured. This is required so that class groups have got grade ranges configured when it comes to grading a homework task.
