High Risk Indicator

The staff members profile will display a badge if the user is deemed to be of a high risk. This assessment is made by checking the permissions that are assigned to the user and if they have one or more high risk permissions then the badge is displayed. This can help to ensure staff members at the school are only given access to data that they need. The main purpose of this badge is to draw the data protection teams attention to a user if they are a high risk user and take actions (if required) to minimise access.

Tip

We recommend that you follow the principal of least privilege and only assign a permission to someone when they require it to do their job. This helps to limit the scope of data that could be exposed if the users account becomes compromised.

Preview User Indicator

The staff members profile will display a badge if the user is deemed to be a preview user. This assessment is made by checking the permissions that are assigned to the user and if they have one or more preview permissions then the badge is displayed. This can help to ensure you can support the users that are helping to trial new features.
