Incident Analytics#

This report is designed to show senior leaders at the school an overview of the current position for incidents within the school. It shows a set of summary charts with associated data tables to allow full visibility of all information.

When analysing data this report uses the date of the incident to filter reports. This means that when selecting an academic year to view reports for, you will be shown all reports that have a date of incident within that academic year no matter when they were recorded.

You can also use the filters at the top of the screen to further refine the results if you’re trying to answer a specific question.

Tip

The default view for all data sets is the chart. You can switch to the tabular data by clicking the table button within each data card.

Tip

Data items are shown as an individual segment within a chart if they make up more than 4% of the total data. This is to prevent having a tiny segment for a data item that makes up a negligible portion of the chart. Having these small segments makes the chart very difficult to read and gain insights from. If you want to see the data in full, just click the table button to see the full data set.

Tip

Click on a segment of the chart or the associated table to be taken to a detailed list of the concern reports.

Tip

Clicking the download data button will download the associated data as a csv file enabling the school to perform additional analysis using the data.
